  1. If you don’t believe that the majority of men value women only by the way they look, just look at the comments. An amazing powerful speach by an amazing actor and director and the comments are focusing on her looks. Smdh

  2. I’m so happy I came across her when I was very young, about 7 or 8 years old. Most of my childhood idols disappointed me but she’s the one who stayed. I’m 20 now and I still adore her. She’s a role model in many ways and a beautiful example how one can use their power and kindness to help others, without wanting anything in exchange. I love her so much. I wish more people would focus on her actions rather than her looks.

  3. Amazing speech. Angie working more than a decade with women from the most difficult and hurtful of backgrounds can understand that we are not the only women suffering. In every part of this world a woman is challenging pain and hardship that we can’t even imagine. Let’s be thankful for what we have and keep fighting for our rights, and the rights of minorities that are not been seen or spoken in the media

  4. Its so sad that while she is making a speech about women empowerment and becoming a greater community, still the majority of the comments here are just to tear her down, and based on what? Her looks? Come on… I find this utterly disgusting.

    • oh the men handled it very very wrong, but no I am saying both parties are wrong.. You don’t just fall in love with someone, you allow yourself to fall in love, and I believe it is not real love anyway. Love is nurtured and is an action. But she knowingly went into a relationship with married men. She was able to sleep at night knowing there were women hurting. She was a part of that and that is not empowering women it is breaking them down. But if you think dating married men or men in relationships is ok and that is they type of person you are then that is you.. I think its wrong and I would not admire a woman who does. But again I just find it ironic she is speaking to women when she would step on them in a heart beat… thats all no more no less.

And as for her looks they play no roll in who she is other than having men attracted to her. No one can take away from her looks, she was born beautiful outside. It is the inside that is ugly

    • Laurie Durnan I have not a single time said that i think its okay to be with a married man. But your unwillingness to listen and quickness to judge makes it very hard to talk. I have not said anything judging or disrespectful about you, so you probably shouldnt do that about me either. Im out. Ciao!

    • not judging you, I am saying that I don’t like women or men who date married people. Angie dates married men. I don’t like Angie.. I said if you do that that is you. Everyone judges, we evaluate and we judge. We get to chose what traits we admire in a person and what traits we don’t. I can not respect anyone who can hurt another person and sleep well at night. People.

    • don’t you think she could have benefited women’s empowerment by not staying silent about Weinstein raping women? what about the cocaine sex parties and drug taking she does in Malibu, she is a slut
