  1. Admittedly, when I first saw this as a 13 year old back in 2006, the Fathers Day short scared the piss out of me. Even more so than The Crate, mainly because the undead was and is still a lot scarier than some kind of feral beast. Being 25 though, it’s not so much scary, as it is unsettling. The distortion effect on the grandfather’s voice is what creeps me out the most. Though, how in the heck did he gain psychic powers? That I forgot about, which made it kind of funny when rewatching it a few days ago.

    • Big Guy617 There was a Creepshow 3. A shitty porn-quality TV movie made by Taurus Entertainment, in 2002, to secure the license rights to the original film after they bought out Romero’s own company, United Films. Neither King, Romeo or Savini were involved.

After Creepshow 2, the property was repurposed for television. Becoming Tales from the Darkside, which lasted a couple seasons before ending with its own movie. Tales from the Darkside: The Movie was released in 1990. And features “The Cat from Hell”, a Stephen King story that was cut from Creepshow 2 for budget. Because of this, Savini considers the film the *REAL* Creepshow 3.

  2. “That couldn’t possibly happen but what if it did”
It’s happening right now with species from different parts of worlds being introduced to places where shouldn’t be, whether by accident or intentionally by idiotic people.
The Asian kudzu vine for example was introduced to Philadelphia in the 1870s and is found all over the eastern United States, going as far south to north eastern Texas and going as far north to massachusetts!
In Australia we use to have a problem with another invasive species called the prickly pear cactus which is from the Americas. The cactus went out of control to the point there use to be giant forests of cactuses! Thankfully, after years of research the cactus moth was introduced and since prickly pear was the only type of cactus in australia, the plant is now under control. We still have problems with cane toads, cats, rabbits, foxes, goats, boars, camels, horses, buffaloes, Indian mynah birds, and carp just to name a few (although most of these animals wouldn’t be a problem if we just hunt them for meat or reintroduced native preds such as dingoes, crocs, monitor lizards, eagles and tasmanian devils to knock them out).
