Four-eyes didn’t seem willing to admit that citizen journalism has any potential beyond being just a quaint sideshow. She didn’t even want to dignify it by calling it citizen journalism. And I guess that’s not surprising. If ‘regular’ people start taking too much of an interest in their own lives, they might begin to question the main stream’s version of reality. Didn’t she say she thinks we need professionals to tell us what to care about? That just about says it all right there.
