If you go to survivalblog.com, there is so much great stuff on their site you may overlook one of the most important items, which is the link to the organization started by Mr Robert and James Rawles, called CFAPA.

Here is the description from the website.
The Constitution First Amendment Press Association (CFAPA.org) was founded in March, 2014 to provide credentials and to provide a venue for a mostly anonymous association of independent American Citizen Journalists. We provide press credentials free of charge to any adult American Citizen who accepts the Constitutional Journalist’s Pledge and who agrees to CFAPA’s Member Terms and Conditions.

This is a great site. I also highly recommend their Citations section which gives helpful information regarding laws governing recording audio and video of people in all 50 states. This is invaluable information not found anywhere else.
if you do join and get your press credentials, I recommend you give them a small donation to help them out.
In Europe, they have passed terrible hate speech laws that imprisons people for saying things certain protected groups do not want to hear. There are serious efforts to make the same thing happen in America. In some states there are laws being written to jail citizens who take photos of police. I encourage everyone to learn about their rights and begin to use them before they are taken from us. in the news this very day there are groups wanting to register journalists so only those registered would be official and accorded certain rights. We need every citizen to be a journalist.

Buy one of those watches, become a citizen journalist, learn what are the laws in your state regarding the recording of meetings or individuals in public and if your rights are being taken,abused or threatened, record your evidence and show the people what is happening.
