Exactly. I grew up in an era b4 tories when u paid into the tax system you got back from the system, when atlee gave us the NHS and dental which was free at point of service paid for with taxes.
We had free uni and college and training, we had free care homes and care in the community and meals on wheels and community midwives and nurses and mental health…
We had free community centres and an actual community spirit, we had free legal aid and plentiful housing and we owned our own telecoms and energy and water companies. Our roads were great our streets were clean and everyone was not isolated.
JC wanted to give it all back with a properly costed manifesto. That no one could pick apart…
