  1. Don’t speak about Bukayo. You’ve been asking for him to be replaced the whole tournament whilst Foden has had a free ride being abject in every single England game he’s played.
    You don’t deserve Saka.

  2. No seem to recognise how tired Kane was, missed so many runs to support Sakha in the box,he was flat footed ,Watkins would have had more of a support. Not writing off Kane, still very dangerous, but tired

  3. Saka had been getting slated all week by so many pundits and fans, while players like Kane and Foden get a free ride. Also can we stop this bs that Foden doesnt play off the left for city, before last season where he played in the 10 for most of it, he was always playing off the left. Stop making excuses for an exceptionally talented player that has done absolutely nothing in an England shirt, Kane is the same.

    • Wing back not left back. He played wing back today and was better than he’s been in previous games. He’s better at coming deeper and going at defenders that staying up top.

    • @@Limebradleyhe’s saying they (pundits) wanted him left back but at least Southgate knew to play him as a wing back so he can get forward and effect the game

    • @@Limebradleythat’s not quite right….its been England’s failure to feed him fast enough so he can isolated players, and face them up. Walker has been shocking at this, if Hen White plays we dominate the right side

    • @@Limebradley He’s better at RW (20 goals and 13 assists in the EPL and CL this past season; 12 goals for England playing in this position, second only to Kane in this squad). The problem is Southgate won’t fix the real issues in the attack: (a) The left side of the squad does not function well, because Trippier is so right footed, and Foden does not hold his width. (b) Kane, Bellingham, and Foden too often get in each other’s way and try to occupy the same space. (c) There is no speedy outlet in attack, especially on the left. An obvious solution has been to play a true winger on the left in Anthony Gordon, move Foden to the 10 (or start Palmer there), and drop Bellingham to the 8 alongside (but slightly ahead of) Rice, a position he’s long played for club and country prior to this year. The move to the 3-4-2-1 did improve things a bit, creating more separate zones for Bellingham and Foden, with Jude on the left and Foden on the right. But it also sacrificed a lot of width in attack. Southgate is a good squad builder and man manager. He’s actually a relatively poor tactician.

  4. “Turned it around” “Redeemed himself”

Saka missed a penalty and was treated appallingly. Continued playing despite it all, now scores a penalty in a shoot out. Unbelievable mental fortitude. He had nothing to ‘turn around’ or ‘redeem himself’. The fans were the ones that needed to redeem themselves.

  5. I’ve always said Saka was technically one of Englands best players but had no idea his mental capacity was so strong. To step up and take his penalty under immense pressure with nothing but a cheeky smile and wave blew me away.

  6. Saka was brilliant in our first game. Bit more quiet in the rest of the group. Another 10/10 performance last night. Not an Arsenal fan but can see why they call him starboy. He just does everything you want. You shout out the TV to take the man on, who to pass to etc. and he just always seems to do the right thing. It’s only foden and kane not showing up when it comes to the front line. Watkins and Gordon deserve a chance. Gordon would basically be another saka on the other wing. Watkins scored plenty of goals in a Villa team.

  7. Bukayo Saka has now scored more goals than David Beckham at Major Tournaments. At the same age he broke CR7 Goals record, while playing all his games in the toughest league. He doesn’t have to prove anything again 🫡

    SAKA’S WORLDCLASS!

    At 22 years;
    CR7 242 games & 106 Goals+Assists.
    Saka 212 games & 104 Goals+Assists.
    Messi 200 games & 138 Goals+Assists.

Shinning in Arteta’s system. Shinning in the English system since his debut. More yet to come.
You that hate this boy, you’re destroying the English team and hurting the unity that builds a winning Chemistry. These boys are all special talent uniquely gifted and can beat anyone.

Bring them together with UNIFORM love! Everyone has proved their mettle when it counts. Celebrate them equally. Especially you pundits who have the power to use media in a way players can’t. Lead in this, and realize you set the tone and precedence.

  8. Not only has Saka been our best/most effective player for the last two or three years, but his positional flexibility really speaks volumes as to his professionalism and desire. I remember the coverage remarking that he was the solution for every problem we had, such an apt description of a fantastic player. (Not even an Arsenal fan before someone says it! 😂)

  9. It’s not about ‘redeeming himself’. Saka was voted England player of the year two years in a row, dropping him was always crazy (especially given Foden has been anonymous once again despite playing central this time).
