One minute you’re perfectly fine, the next your body is so stiff its immobile. Then your body relaxes again with the help of medicine. Some seizures last longer. But yes, she can come out of the seizure and SEEM perfectly fine. That’s because the body has relaxed. Not saying it won’t ever happen again, it inevitably will.

So true. We take it for granted.
So many of us are suffering to the max day in & day out. We don’t get a break or vacation from it. We are home bound/bed ridden often times going without our basic needs being met.😭🙏 I feel so deeply for Celine and I cry tears for her, tears for me, all of us suffering that no one understands. I’m watching her interviews and wooooow. Her words have given me language to what I suffer with and how I feel but haven’t been able to express. Sending love to all of us suffering for too many years and at the end of our rope.🙏🙏🙏🙏May we hold on another day & never give up.🙏🙏🙏🙏
I have to wonder if a few years ago when she lost all that weight, if that did not trigger something in her immune system? She lost so much weight that she was skeletal.

I worked in a premiere hospital where top celebrities go. Not all celebrities have enough humility and courage to do this. Sharing this side of her is one brave decision, as it brings awareness to the condition. It also allows people to realize that they are also human beings. I wish all the best to Celine Dion.

@@elizabethpieters7798Of course, no one is obliged to, but the fact that she is brave and open enough to share this, just show how she recognizes her own humanity, that she’s just like any other person going through struggles. Believe it or not, I’ve met patients, nomatter who they were, who still held on to their pride until the end, like nothing’s wrong with them. A lot of these patients could’ve helped others in the same situation but didn’t.
This poor woman needs deliverance. I by no means say this in a harsh way.. I pray someone will come into her life and offer real truth. She’s made a clothing line for children that doesn’t sit well with many people right before this condition overtook her.
The way her helper calls her , “Boss” is heartbreaking. You can tell he cares for her. 😢

I do not know. Calling “Boss” is very common in some places. You can call someone boss to show respect, to let them know you respect them regardless on how they feel and situation, to make them feel empower and strong when they feel weak the most, also to joke around. I actually hear someone calling the other “Boss” in nice situations.
There is little else worse than losing what you had, especially something you passionately loved. I don’t have her same issues, but have lost much that I loved!

But if I am brought back to my Lord, surely, there will be for me the best (wealth) with Him.” Then, We verily, will show to the disbelievers what they have done, and We shall make them taste a severe torment. [Fussilat 41:50]

Celine Dion and Michael J Fox are two of my favorite celebrities who are going through health issues. They are also close to my age – 59 and I pray for them. 🙏🏼
Oh my gosh. Poor Celine. She’s been such an amazing artist to follow for decades now. This is so sad.
So brave of her to document this part of her journey on her most vulnerable state. I hope she recovers. She made so many people happy yet she suffers the most, it’s heartbreaking and all I can do is pray for her.
I recently saw a neurology team who thought I was dealing with the early stages of this same illness. My life over the last 4-5 years has been plagued by terrifying neurological symptoms. Painful body spasms, throat muscle spasms causing it to close and deplete my oxygen to dangerous levels in my sleep,m, muscle jerking, tetany. All to a much milder degree than Mrs.Dion but still so terrifying! She is so strong for continuing to work despite her condition!
Luckily out I had parathyroidism causing severe mineral deficiencies that caused me these issues. I’m on the road to recovery and it breaks my heart that she is still suffering with such a painful and terrifying illness. I truly hope that this large scale exposure of SPS allows for a cure or better symptom management to be developed in the near future❤️
She is a an absolute fighter 💪🏻
