OMG, now that you’ve mentioned it! 😮 he does look like him
Clinton Bayas Yeah..I thought I was the only one who think about that when I saw his picture with a girl I said he looks like Jackson Wang.
The fact that he made it in both worlds is an achievement – way to go 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
He was part of Star Magic and very down to earth
Just so you know , Police officer in Europe , USA and Canada is THE DREAM JOB for them kc it is one of the highest paying job , LESS days of work , PAID vacation/ rest days. And people respect them so much. Went to Toronto and will be migrating to Canada from here in Europe , I am so happy to know that he is in Toronto coz he is my long time crush haha pasaway kaya ako para mapansin hehe
@@kristinemalveda7350 why not?
Even in philippines being a policeman, soldier or any law enforcement job is a dream job of filipinos plus the fact that their salary got increased 2x. The lowest ranking got payed about P37k monthly.
Gaga ka!
Are you kidding me?? Any government service in US are underpaid except in the medical system.
Lol no way police officer is one of the highest paying job in USA here in Virginia the police officer starts only at $38k a year
Good to know he’s fine and happy living in his home.
Woah really? You made a good decision. It’s better to live a peaceful life and stable career. Best of luck to you!
no career is stable
@@n4gauge a career is stable if it’s a government job.
How can you say that its peaceful? He is a police and crimes are a day by day problem, thats not peaceful anymore.
@@CanisterA.D You have a point. I should have said, “more peaceful”.
Yeah. A very wise decision
😂😂😂
His wife is also a former actress in ABS CBN Aurora Halili.
Winter Chill oh si aurora halili pala naging asawa n’ya? sikat ‘yun noon. 🙂

Nice
lol lahat talaga makikita mo sa net haha
I’m a Filipino and I am glad he found happiness even away from the showbiz. 😊 At the end of the day, money can’t buy peace of mind. 🙂
LOL. He probably makes more money as a cop than he did as an actor in the Philippines!
True
He’s doing this for money !!
@@b.a.b7834 wow! How did you know?
@@jamesdavis8731 Actually nope. Bring an Artists, you also being paid by sponsors not just contract price.
I barely remember this guy. I was too young when his show is aired on national television. Good for him he is now a Canadian citizen.
Nice to see he have a good life away from showbiz…keep it up serving & protecting the people..be safe !! Proud to see a Filipino doing good.
I remember him it’s nice to know his doing great!

I don’t see anything wrong from Don Laurel’s change of career. Being a police in Canada is a decent, high paying and well respected job. His present job now is much stable than being a celebrity star…kudos to Don Laurel!
Pilipinas wala qualta, corruption, gutum, I want to leave the Philippines.
Don Laurel was a former star magic actor for ABS-CBN in Manila. Now he’s living the good life in Toronto. Keep on serving the people, bro! Mabuhay ka!
I was born in the 90s, but still recognized his face. I prefer watching the old soap operas than today’s generation because they have better script and you’ll learn something from them. Nowadays, you’ll only learn how to flirt and snatched somebody’s partner 🙄.
Spot on. I totally agree with your observation. I am not a fan of soap operas- and much more now. I totally hate teleseryes!
@@mariavictoriasalita2908 The last phrase really hits hard. It’s the main reason why I quit watching television here in the Philippines, there’s no valuable lessons I can learn from it.
@@loidee6651 also add that detestable and despicable Pinoy Big Brother. Did you know that the creator of the Big Brother House franchise is also the creator of The Human Centipede sequels?
Marameng kabet hahahah, yan uso gusto naman ng mga potanginang manonood 😅
I wasn’t born in the 90s but early 2000s, yet I agree. When it comes to filipino movies, I rather prefer watching old films especially comedies during the times of Dolphy, Babalu, Redfor White, etc. When it comes to modern comedians, some of whom I only prefer are Bayani Agbayani and Michael V etc, I just love the nostalgia feeling.
I felt weird watching people not wearing mask on the street and then I realise it was 3 years ago…
lol
😂
Masks are still weird and almost useless outdoors.
@@robertfinch1658 nailed it 👍
Hahahaah
He’s “Flillipino”Joey from “Fillipino”Friends.
He used to be in notebook covers during the 90s. Damn the nostalgia. 😂📔
@Ramón Jurado Borrero too many competition in the 90s.
