In her documentary she addresses this a lot and mostly speaks in her real voice but you also see her using the iconic one. She’s very aware of herself doing this.
Or is she?
Her iconic voice?
So she was only “playing“
the entitled ditz role?
@@TheWorld_2099 she was playing what we want the entitled ditz to be. It’s TV man.
@@memyself898 She’s such an entitled and reprehensible human being, it blows my mind that anyone looks up to her.
Do yall even know what iconic means? If everything is iconic, nothing is. Like please, im begging yall, use a dictionary.
She is really a smart woman! That voice helped elevate her celebrity status so much that the Kardashians copied her.
So she did it for the same reason most mean girls in high school do:
popularity
Who cares🤪
She learned from Britney 😉
@@Brimbles2 And fame and money…
@@Readysetgo2007 she already had fame and money because of who her daddy is.
Kim copying the fake voice for clout is so creepy.
Um how is it creepy?
@@bizzarebanana3041 because she really “working hard” 24/7 to fake everything, she must be paid by someone who have agenda and powerfull and have great influence to society
@@goldsteinman Literally what pairs hilton did tho
@𝓡𝓜𝓜𝓥 𝓞𝓬𝓮𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓬 3 Didn’t she copy the Valley girl accent or what one should call it? 😛
@@bizzarebanana3041 So for you it’s praisable?
Atleast she didnt go overboard like the Kardashians with the plastic surgery and fillers. She looks elegant and has that old money look ❤
@@keetahbrough true. nobody talks about it but i am of the impression that part of the Kardashian’s obsession with plastic surgery is minimising their armenian characteristics.
She’s had lots of surgery and fillers 😂😂
She wears too much makeup.
@@keetahbrough The Kardashians look European naturally. They have done everything possible to change their bodies to look black, the the point of cultural appropriation.
@@findingbeautyinthepain8965 thank you! Black women have been saying for years that most of the KKKardashian sisters have been using surgery to minic our features but were called jealous haters. Now they have their beige accessories, I mean children, they are going back to the slim Eurocentric beauty standard 😂
Kim dated that white comedian, and is rumored to be seeing Tom Brady, so clearly in her dating white boy era, with the body to match.
I love her normal voice. You can hear how strong and confident of a person she is
Oh my word 😂
@Doug Nading a person can be born into privilege and still experience trauma and pain. Paris is indeed strong and confident while having gone through A LOT of abuse in her life.
how can we know that those abuse reports are actually staged too? lol@@sophien5416
Her real voice is a lot nicer on the ears. I like it. ❤
Amen all over that. She’s got lovely timbre.
I thought the British voice was her real voice at first lol
she must have dated Ozzy to pick up that accent
😂😂😂
Can you imagine!! I was also (briefly) confused, LOL!
lol same
😂😂😂😂😂
I met her back in early 2006 in Laguna Beach California at a rooftop bar and lounge. She was there celebrating a friends birthday and was very sweet and polite and spent a lot of time talking to the few of us that happen to be there. She spoke of her “character” that she plays for her fans and the importance of giving the fans what they want to see and hear. Lovely woman and actually more shy in real settings.
Her mom is on the real housewives and shes mentioned how shy Paris actually is in ‘real’ life.
I know the rooftop bar you’re talking about.. Casa del Camino. I lived in Laguna for 8 years. She was probably there hanging out with Doug Reinhart back then.
Shy… 😂
Hmm this is actually helpful bc (not that is matters really) I sort of wondered if this “it was an act” disclosure was actually kind of made up in retrospect to elevate her story or erase past embarrassments lol.
There’s stories from her maid and stuff saying how nice it was working for her and how kind she was to them
I don’t get how people are shocked? She switched between her natural voice and her high pitched voice constantly throughout The Simple Life. It was obvious that she put it on.
I wish I could watch The Simple Life again. I’d like to watch it with my current “eyes”.
I never saw that show. Don’t know if my country showed it.
@@TheBrainFlowit’s on YouTube ❤
She never tried to hide this. She’s written books where she talks about playing a character and giving the media “what they want to hear” openly. True fans of Paris have known this for years!
What is a true fan? Of what? If she is an artist what is the art? She is paid to exist as a hotel heiress. Air BNB cut into the lodging business so bad, she had to be on the Hilton commercials. What’s the fandom based on? Inheritance & nepotism? That’s literally why people like Trump. Ugh. That’s not talent thats having things.
@@dzxn3728the question I wanted to ask. True fans?!?!? 😵💫
@@dzxn3728 that’s most influencers and they have fans too. let people like whatever they want, its not that serious
@@dzxn3728 This has absolutely nothing to do with her having fans. She’s famous. Famous people have fans regardless of what ever it is they do and she’s done SOMETHING with her career or no one would even know who she is. Not having any talent has nothing to do with being famous. There are tons of singers and actors that have millions of fans and they don’t have an ounce of talent.
@@dzxn3728 Glad I read the replies cause I was going to ask this too. But what else could it be but fans of celebrity, and what else is celebrity but a made up character marketed to be famous, and what is the purpose of fame but to sell products and socio-political agendas? What is she selling sitting on that couch on that show? She’s selling that show and that show is there to attach advertising to, to sell other products. To be a fan of marketing? How does that happen?
She’s looking even better as she ages.
Totally agree!!
No. Her voice sounds exactly the same though.
Money.
The wonders of cosmetic surgery
There’s like two commentors that saw her documentary, apparently. She turned out very well despite her awful parents, rotten sister, and legitimate traumatic experiences at those boarding schools where hundreds, if not thousands of teenagers, were abused. She said she would do whatever she had to in order to never rely on her parents, so she went with the dumb blonde act since the tabloids decided that she was an idiot who couldn’t be helped.
She got at least one of those hellish schools closed. You can hate her celebrity status all you want, but her speaking up and giving others a platform to talk made a positive difference for those who were abused into silence for so long.
What’d her sister do?
I watched her documentary when it came out. She is so strong and resilient.
What did her sister do???
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💯
Haven’t seen her documentary, but I always liked Paris. A few times, she appeared to be humble and caring while on her reality show. I’m glad she’s doing well.
Firstly, she grew up and realised that she could be herself, and then secondly, she was playing a character…a MARKETABLE character. Genius.
Yeah….
Genius.
@@TheWorld_2099Look into her. Maybe not text book genius but she is extremely smart. Don’t take her at surface level.
@@TheWorld_2099 I mean she made herself more or less a household name for years with seemingly no real talent. I mean her name helped but it’snot like you would generally equate a hotel chain to something entertaining. There is a certain genius to that.
@@memyself898 like many people with entertainment industry aspirations living in Los Angeles, she has strong narcissistic tendencies.
If you look at her long series of lost friendships and failed projects, it paints a picture of the kind of person you couldn’t have as a personal friend.
She’s one of those people we call “famous for absolutely no reason“ except that she levied her wealth and connections to force her self into the media.
I’m no fan of the Kardashians, but at least they did it right, and truly turned their opportunity into an empire.
@@memyself898 but I do appreciate your ability to have a civil online conversation, and for that, I send you thanks and respect.
Wasn’t just a character, it was an embellishment, an exaggeration. She was young and surrounded by a very specific group of people. They were your, rich, and few responsibilities beyond attractiveness and popularity. Developing intellect wasn’t a priority. She’s an adult now. She has matured.
Bingo!
Paris was so smart she made us look dumb for thinking she’s dumb 😂
I thought it was more of an “out of touch” thing.
@@eddardgreybeard the fact she agreed to go to jail. I admired her for that
@@erinpilla agreed? She got charged for a crime under the penal code just like you would… do you think you would have CHOICE in that matter? 😂😂 Agreed 😭🤣 Find worthy people to admire. P.S. The press quantified her jail time in hours because it was so privileged.
@@sjohnson65456 I can admire Paris as much as admire Buddha 😉
The ultimate TROLL master lol 😂. Her documentary was so good, sad too
I’m totally using this line to explain away about 3 decades of social awkwardness
She played poker at my table at Borgata in Atlantic City and she honestly was a normal person. Talked to everyone almost like she wasnt Paris Hilton…. was strange but she was cool.
its not that different. the voice is the same but how she speaks is different
Exactly. She still sounds the same and I don’t think that’s her real voice either. It’s just less baby sounding
The pitch and pattern are a bit different
That’s what I thought too. It’s probably deepened a bit with age.
Nope, her natural voice has a lower pitch too.
i just think she is being less flirty@@peavette
I remember reading a small post written by one of the stage crew members working with her. They said she secluded herself from the rest of the cast and loved to tinker/work on things with her hands ie engines, machines and the like in order to disconnect from the character she played. He recounted how extremely intelligent she was and how kind she was but could tell the character she always portrayed was wearing on her. Im glad she’s getting to be her real self these days
yeah cos she’s a guy.
I also have been doing this for years since childhood. It’s been called my “customer service voice” lol
Yes! My mom had her “phone voice,” and then her voice that she would talk to people in person with. My husband hates when I now switch voices when talking to get my point across! 😄
