The Hillside Digital Trust's model of community participatory video activism based training and support of youth in human rights proves that when the youth are empowered and given a voice they have the capacity to affect dramatic social change within their communities.
"Citizen Journalism in South Africa," is a video written and produced by our first community video activism project in Alexandra Township, north of Johannesburg, South Africa, after 6 months of training using a camera and a laptop.
