    • And I’m sure if you were PM things would be different, right?

      The simple fact is that being a politician is one of the least appealing jobs in existence and anyone who’s high skilled and competent can find a far less stressful and far more financially rewarding job in the private sector. That’s why politics only attracts those who are already wealthy, like the idea of having power or political ideologues. Not exactly a recipe for competent governance.
