Man Utd news: Watch Jose Mourinho SNAP at female reporter after Brighton defeat
======================================
 The Red Devils slumped to their first defeat of the season at the AMEX after a lacklustre display which was littered with defensive errors. Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof endured a torrid afternoon as they aimed to show they are the central defensive pairing Mourinho should use going forward. But in surprising fashion, the Manchester United boss refused to criticise individual players in his post-match interview. However, Mourinho did snap at a female journalist who called out the lack of "chemistry" shown by the away side.  Carrie Brown, of beIN Sports, asked a disgruntled Mourinho: "It seemed like there wasn't enough communication or chemistry in your team, is that fair to say?" To which the United chief bluntly responded: "You must be fantastic in your job to understand and speak about chemistry of players." Brown briefly struggled to get her third and final question out, clearly taken aback by Mourinho's response. However, she then asked the Portuguese coach one last question, receiving another short answer. She asked: "Is that the response you wanted and expected, is that enough from your side?” Mourinho replied: “We made mistakes, we were punished by those mistakes. I cant say more than that." Brown took to Twitter after the incident, sharing a video of her interview, captioning it with a shrugging emoji. It has been a summer of upheaval at Old Trafford for Mourinho and his players. Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho refuses to answer one question after loss Man Utd news: Woodward 'left typing message, didn't wait for Mourinho'  The former Chelsea boss was unhappy with the club's transfer business, and has had to reject claims of another fall out with star man Paul Pogba. Speaking after Sunday's defeat to Chris Hughton's side, Mourinho said: "We were punished by the mistakes we made. "For me that's the story of the game. "We made incredible mistakes in some crucial moments. Mistakes that killed us. "Especially that third goal – we expected to come at 2-1 with positivity – then the third goal killed us off in the second half. "Our second goal came too late. "The week leading up was good and I expected the team collectively to be better. "There are basic mistakes that makes almost an impossible mission to win the match." Next up for United is a clash with Tottenham next Monday evening.
