Spain’s gag law, which places massive restrictions on peaceful public demonstrations and journalists reporting on police, has been met with criticism from activists and human rights groups who came out in the thousands to protest the Citizen Security Law in Madrid, Spain and other cities on Tuesday.       (Franco was also pretty right-wing and didn’t like freedom of speech much either)
