Keir Starmer’s Labour Party won the UK general election and is on course for a huge parliamentary majority with votes still being counted, a result that upends British politics after Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives imploded. Bloomberg's Alex Morgan analyzes the results.

Tell me you are a muslim –
Men do it best!!
Did Jethro Q. Walrustitty run for the Silly Party this election?
I am so glad and proud of the UK!
Lol, Labour will be out before the year is out..
@@justinfowler5761nah, I doubt it. The Tories will still be blamed for current economic woes for a while, at least a year or two.
Here comes LGBTIQ Socialism, more gender ideology in schools and universities, more emigration, more crime, prepare to suffer because LGBTIQ Socialism enters to dismember!
@@justinfowler5761 Cope. You LOST!
@@deadcarz4926 the UK lost
I wish the bookies would take a bet on nothing changing. That’s the only way most of us will gain anything out of this farse of ping-pong politics.
Wow we’d all be millionaires lol. I’d bet everything to my name😂
14 straight years of selling off Britain, is hardly ping-pong.
The analysis is that islamist take over is seen 😂
Good luck britanistan 😂
Don’t be ridiculous
Rishi sunak and his party were supporting illegal migrants. Now, corrupt rishi sunkar and his inlaws who want indian to work 14 hours a day will be on the losing side.
Yessss
@@Me_di yep they are fooked
Tf? Most Muslims didn’t even vote Labour this general election. This makes sense why despite Labour won the most seats by 64%, the had less than 40% of the vote share
It is like in Germany, no one wanted Scholz we all wanted to prevent the Hobbit from Aachen. Same with the UK even if Starmer had not made one speech, the people wanted to eliminate the Tories.
Same in France. Nobody wants Micron (sic) but they unite to destroy the one the PEOPLE want ie Marine (“far right” ). Macron etc support the Nazis in Ukraine and genocide in Gaza then pretend they are democratic!!
@@haskalah same with Biden in America
@@salmaabdullahgb I remember the elections. After the trump years even a rabbit could have won against trump
Starmer will become very unpopular, very quickly.
Already he is hated, for good reason. The vote is against the hopeless Tories.
Why ? Give the guy a chance ffs! This is the problem with this country, we write people off too fast! No wonder our country is f*cked
Don’t worry he’ll print money. Spread is liberally and you’ll enjoy 2 years. Then the sugar high will SET the Sun forever on the Empire. Heck the Kings selling his castles I bet
Fly you fools
@@cHFBbyou toast. Free is nice and then becomes less and less and then. You’ll see soon. Like your healthcare nice to have it free but is it actually usable?
@cHFBb Yall have been fucked since Queen Elizabeth died
REAP WHAT YOU SOW HAHAH I SO HAPPY I LEFT UK
Reform isn’t right wing.
Exactly, it’s far right
Go labor
Labour well done
And it’s back to the EU. They need your money.
Seems like every once in a while the UK gets upset with Conservatives not having their act together despite the mandates they’ve been given — so they hand power over to Labour to show their discontent. Then Labour, predictably, makes a mess of things so the power goes back to Conservatives who, hopefully, have learned a lesson by that time. Also, voters hope a few more competent Conservative leaders have risen to the top in that time and replaced the ones who mucked it up last time around.
Labour gave us the NHS and the minimum wage, you know literally nothing.
British politics makes zero sense
…to you.
Even though starmer had low approval ratings I. Rating , he won. A huge alert for trump, conservative lose.
Cynical is is right, Starmer has a mountain to climb😮He has never been very popular😮
Sadly, nothing will change. Starmer can do very little to join the EU. He knows it. Unfortunately, the English population still can’t fathom life after their pound is eliminated – let alone Schengen.
They won because Tories stayed at home
Good
I’ve not ever seen any good coming from conservites!
The real surprise is that the Tories could keep 99 seats.
