I never get Artetas transfer strategy. We literally had the best defence last year. We need to strengthen CM, RW, and ST, but every time I complain about an Arteta signing he proves me wrong so we move
Deep-lying playmaker is at the top of the list for sure. But a top quality left sided defender that can come in and start at both left-back and centreback is a very close second when you think of how we lost control of so many matches because top teams targetted that side when Zinchenko played (Tomi and Timber injured most of the season, and Kiwior not very press resistant). Competition for Saka, yes definitely. Striker is the lowest priority because to purchase a player that is actually an upgrade on Havertz would cost well over 100m. Arsenal doesn’t have Man City’s budget.
