Archival footage, audio and stills of Sean Young from the original film are used to represent her character of Rachael.[13] Additionally, Sean Young does not appear directly in the film, but her character—the young Rachael—is recalled first with a picture and upgraded footage from Blade Runner, in order to briefly portray Rachael in a hallucination had by Deckard, and later played by actress Loren Peta with Young's facial features overlaid via CGI, to portray the "Rachael Replacement Double", a replicant designed by Niander Wallace to be physically identical to the original Rachael. While Deckard declared the real Rachael had had green eyes, this may have been a ruse, as Sean Young has brown eyes; evident in the original film. (They did appear green on the screen of the Voigt-Kampff.) The voice of the Rachael Replacement Double was also (Loren Peta).
