Hey Friends! I wish a very happy Diwali to all of you. Today on this special occasion Aamir Khan has given a gift to us in the form of his film – Secret Superstar and let’s talk about it. It a sweet romantic, musical drama and female oriented film that is written and directed by Advait Chandan , starring Zaira Wasim, Meher Vij, Raj Arjun , Tirth Parekh And Amir Khan in the lead role.
The plot of the film is about a girl and her mother. This teenaged girl Insia, aspires to be a singer and her mother despite all odds in her personal life supports her in every way to fulfill this dream of hers. And then a music director Shakti Kumar plays a vital role to achieve her goal.
The director Advait Chandan has directly hammered on the issue of females of India , who are being dominated by their fathers and brothers before their wedding and later by their husbands. Women don’t have any right to see the dreams .. rather even thinking to fulfilling them is too far. This movie would serve as an inspiration to all such females who r striving to find the way to their dreams, who are being dominated at every step of their lives, who are bearing injustice , whose husbands physically and verbally torture and abuse them, who are the victims of domestic violence. Advait Chandan has given the mental power to such women through his film, which would help them take their own decisions to change their lives. It is rightly said that you are just one decision away from the life you want. The director has very well shown that the husbands who raise hands on their partners should be kicked off without any fail because bearing injustice even once make them more power to torture, to think that their women are weaker and to take their women for granted.
Excellent cinematography and screenplay of the movie. Superb script wont let the audience leave their seats even for loo breaks.
Music is of the movie by Amit Trivedi is undoubtedly good. Main kaun Hoon, meri pyari ammi and sexy baliye are already ruling the charts as well as our hearts.
Talking about the performances, Zaira Wasim, whom we all saw as little Geeta in the Amir Khan’s previous venture Dangal, is rocking as Insia, the title character secret superstar. She has delivered a commendable piece. Meher Vij is playing Insia’s mother and she is as lovely as any other mother of this world. She played little munni’s mom In the movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan before. Special Kudos to Tirth Parekh in the role of Insia’s classmate and best friend. He has emerged as a new face in the industry with a typical Gurjrati looks. Raj Arjun plays a tough and strict father of Insia and has done a complete justice to his negative role. Not words of Aamir khan in the role of Music Director Shakti Kumar. We see Aamir is a complete different flirty character who is great at heart. Overall There is no single character in the film who couldn’t deliver … all gave their best that fit into their respective roles.
It’s a must watch movie for everyone and shouldn’t be missed.
My rating to Secret Superstar is 4.5 out of 5.
