Chandrababu Naidu has similar economic policies as BJP. I don’t see any difficulty in accommodating. He is not greedy for power and seems to care about his state a lot. He will not remove Modi as prior to Jagan making him unpopular raising special category issue, he had been with BJP since the 1980s. He is known to have been very close to Vajpayee. I don’t feel he has any PM ambitions (anymore) unlike Nitish Kumar. The special category will probably be among the first decisions by Modi, which would create a perfect chemistry between the two leaders sealing the alliance for 5 years.
